Local LLM Support Arrives

The day has finally arrived! We can now download a ChatGPT-variation to our computers. A GPT4All model is a 3GB - 8GB file that you can download and plug into the GPT4All open-source ecosystem software. GPT-4o is our newest flagship model that provides GPT-4-level intelligence but is much faster and improves on its capabilities across the board. GPT-4 generally lacks knowledge of events that have occurred after the vast majority of its data cuts off September 2021 and does not learn.

What Does This Mean for You?

This means that you can now run your own local LLM chat client without having to rely on an internet connection. This can be useful for a variety of reasons, such as:

• Privacy: Your conversations will be kept private and will not be shared with any third parties.
